Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Draft notice: this is a starting-point draft, not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review it — especially the data-subject-rights section — before relying on it, particularly if you have users in the EU/EEA (GDPR) or California (CCPA).

1. What we collect

  • Account info: your name and email address, from Google sign-in.
  • Usage data: the keywords you submit, generated content, and how many units you've used against your plan.
  • Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details ourselves. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
  • Basic technical data: IP address and browser info, standard for any web service (e.g. for fraud prevention and debugging).

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

  • Provide the Service — run your keyword through search and AI providers and return the result to you.
  • Track your subscription status and plan usage.
  • Process payments via Stripe.
  • Improve the product and fix bugs.
  • Contact you about your account or billing when necessary.

3. Third parties we share data with

Your submitted keywords are sent to third-party providers to generate your results, specifically: a live search data provider, and one or more AI model providers (which one is used may vary). Authentication is handled by Supabase (Google sign-in). Payments are handled by Stripe. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms. We don't sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies: one to keep you signed in (via Supabase), and one to recognize you as a paying subscriber right after checkout. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

5. Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, billing, and fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@writeintent.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access-controlled databases with row-level security) to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children

The Service isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
